How do I track RSVPs?

Every guest has a status that you update: To invite, Invited, Confirmed, Declined, Maybe or Follow up. You can filter the list by status to see immediately who still owes you an answer.

RSVPs are recorded by hand, as people answer you wherever they answer you: WhatsApp, a phone call, or in person. OPHIRA doesn't send the invitations for you.

The statuses

• To invite — they're on your list, you haven't said anything yet.
• Invited — you've told them, no answer yet.
• Confirmed — they're coming.
• Declined — they've said no.
• Maybe — undecided.
• Follow up — they need a nudge.

"Follow up" is the most useful of all: it turns "I have to remember to call my aunt" into a filter.

What the count is for

The number of confirmed guests is what feeds the seating chart and what you need to close the catering. That's why it's worth keeping current, even approximately.
