Help CenterPlanning your wedding

How do I see my dates in Google Calendar or on my iPhone?

From the Calendar you create a private subscription link and add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Your wedding dates show up next to your own without giving OPHIRA access to your account. It’s read-only and refreshes every few hours.

If you already live in your phone’s calendar, you don’t need to open OPHIRA to know what’s next: subscribe once and the wedding dates show up there.

How to subscribe

A private, read-only link that never carries amounts.
  1. Open Calendar under Manage and scroll to Add it to your calendar.
  2. Tap Create subscription link.
  3. Choose Add to Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar or Outlook if you use an iPhone, a Mac or Outlook.

If your calendar asks for an address, tap Copy link and paste it into the option to subscribe from a URL.

What you should know

  • It’s read-only. Dates are changed in OPHIRA, not in your calendar.
  • It refreshes on its own, every few hours. Your calendar decides when to read it again: a change made today can take a while to show up.
  • Amounts never travel. You’ll see that there’s a payment and what it’s for, never how much.
  • It’s private, but it’s a link. Anyone who has it can see the titles and dates, so don’t post it.

If the link was shared by mistake

Tap Change link: the old one stops working right away and you get a new one to subscribe with. Or tap Turn off to switch it off.

Why not connect my Google account?

So we never have to ask for access to your calendar. With a subscription, OPHIRA sends its dates and never sees your other events.
