How do I use the Calendar?
The Calendar, under Manage, brings everything in your wedding that has a date into one view: payments, tasks, the timeline, who to check in with about coming, and when it makes sense to get quotes. It keeps no dates of its own: each one is changed in its own module.
It’s the view of everything that has a date, sorted by month. It isn’t a separate planner you have to fill in: every row comes from something you already logged in another module.
What shows up
- Payments: the ones you scheduled on an expense, and the balance of every expense with a deadline.
- Tasks you haven’t marked done yet that have a date.
- The timeline of the day, with the time of each moment.
- Vendor appointments you noted on their card.
- Guest follow-ups: who to ask again about coming, and when.
- When it makes sense to get quotes for each vendor, and your wedding day.
What’s still pending
If a payment or a task had a date that passed without being marked, it doesn’t disappear: it stays on top, under Still pending, until you mark it. Things that passed and didn’t ask for anything, like an appointment, go under Show earlier dates.
Filter and open
The filters at the top leave a single kind of date: Payments, Tasks, Itinerary, Appointments, Guests or Quotes. Tap any row and it takes you to where that date is changed: the expense in Budget, the task, or the guest’s card. A scheduled payment can be marked as paid right there.
What about the payment calendar in Budget?
It moved here. Budget keeps one line with the next payment and a View in Calendar link, so the expense list stays on top.
