How do I invite friends to my playlist?
From Spotify, not from OPHIRA: open the playlist, Share then Invite collaborators, and that's the link you send each person. OPHIRA can't send it — Spotify's API has never allowed it. What lives here is the list of who you asked, up to three names.
Adding a name here doesn't send an invite: the invite goes out from Spotify. Fill in the OPHIRA list and nothing else, and nobody gets anything.
The steps, in Spotify
- Open the playlist in Spotify.
- Go to Share → Invite collaborators.
- Send that link to each person.
That invite is what lets someone add songs.
What OPHIRA holds
In Playlist, tap Edit on the list: Who's collaborating holds up to three names, each one as To invite, Invited or Collaborating. You move the state yourself — each tap moves it to the next one — because OPHIRA never sees inside the playlist. It's so you don't lose track of who you already asked.
Why OPHIRA doesn't send it
Spotify's API has never had a way to invite collaborators — only to say whether a playlist accepts them. And even if it did: a new app only reaches five Spotify accounts in total until it clears a manual review, so with twenty couples, fifteen would see an authorization error.
Removing a name here doesn't remove anyone from the playlist: that happens in Spotify.
